As you may know, many school districts request that students bring in school supplies for their use throughout the year. The districts provide lists that are quite extensive so that the students have the tools needed throughout the entire year.
This year Mary’s Loving Hands, along with St. Isidore, will be collecting backpacks and school supplies to help families with this expense. There will be a large box in the vestibule of the church for anyone who would like to help with this worthwhile cause. Please consider helping ease this burden for the families who may be struggling with making ends meet.
We will also need help the week of August the 10th with sorting and filling the backpacks. So, if you or a student you know needs community service hours, this would be a great way of earning hours! Please leave your name and phone number with the office and someone will get back to you with the day and time.
